In 2008, we started as a small food cart in downtown Portland, OR. named "Asian Station Cafe". We had a great time down there but wanted to do something more. After we closed the cart, our dreams sat on the "back burner" for a few years until we had an opportunity to open Showcase Foods. As with our food cart, we want to create a niche in our local food culture and showcase dishes and snacks that create excitement and memories. By opening a place like ours, we not only want to serve very delicious food, but also create a connection with our customers and share mutual stories like "Oh, I remember eating this when I was a kid" to "Wow, you can't find these anywhere in Portland!"
